The Wonders of Physics Annual Shows
Since 1984, Professor Clint Sprott has presented The Wonders of Physics to audiences of all ages. The show has been presented on the UW-Madison campus over 300 times to a total audience of about 100,000, usually in mid February. Free tickets are available from the website after the first of the year. The shows are available freely as streaming video from the website.
Outcomes
While it is difficult to track the influence of the shows on audiences, the shows are always sold out. In recent years, Prof. Sprott offered 10 shows each year over the course of two weekends, and filled the 300-seat auditorium each time. People come year after year. Some families have been coming since 1984!
