Guidebook for Wildflowers of Wisconsin and the Great Lakes Region

A full-color field guide to more than 1,100 species of Wisconsin wildflowers, the most comprehensive guide ever published for the state, is available from the University of Wisconsin Press. The authors are botanists Merel Black (an honorary fellow at UW-Madison and UW-Stevens Point) and Emmet J. Judziewicz (professor emeritus at UW-Stevens Point).

Outcomes

Businesses, workers, government employees, and volunteer groups who grow, sell, or manage wild plants will benefit from increased knowledge about wildflowers, including invasive and poisonous species; teachers and students who study botany will benefit; families, individuals, and tourists who enjoy Wisconsin's outdoors will benefit.
