Humanities NOW
The goal of the Humanities Now series is to bring thoughtful, in-depth, and interdisciplinary examination of current topics through the expertise of UW-Madison faculty. Topics have included the role of gaming in contemporary education, the 2008 presidential elections, the war in Iraq, and the inflammatory Danish cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad. The program strives to bring together a diverse panel of faculty and community experts who present their thoughts and initiate discussion on current and pertinent topics of interest with a broader public.
Outcomes
The Humanities NOW series provides a forum for dialogue between university faculty, staff, students and the broader public.
