Careers Conference
The annual Careers Conference, hosted by UW-Madison's Center on Education and Work, focuses on assisting practitioners, working at levels K-12 through adult, to build connections with colleagues from across the country and beyond. The two and a half day event provides information about practices, strategies, resources, and programs that help prepare youth and adults for a lifetime of career decision making and for work in the global economy. More than 100 sessions include presentations on labor market trends, the job search, career assessments, career pathways, career counseling and coaching, related technology, transition strategies, school counseling and skill development.
Outcomes
The conference fosters professional development for educators and career specialists and counselors to help them better prepare youth and adults for the workforce in the 21st century.
