Certificate in Criminal Justice
The centerpiece of the Criminal Justice Certificate Program is an intensive field internship. These internships allow students to connect to the community in a way traditional classroom instruction is not able to provide. Students begin to understand the needs of the community, different agencies, and various stakeholders. Through this experience students become part of the community; they passionately invest in the community using their education and creative problem solving. In turn, the community grants mentorship and collaboration.
