Badger Volunteers™ is a semester-long program that gives students the training and logistical support they need to provide meaningful and consistent service within the Madison community. Teams of UW-Madison students, organized by a student leader, serve community partners on a weekly basis for an entire semester at sites related to: education, sustainability, and/or public health. Each semester approximately 700 students volunteer at over 75+ nonprofit sites in the community. Over the course of the academic year our Badger Volunteers serve nearly 17,000 hours! This consistent service better supports nonprofits of the Madison community in pursuing their missions, and promotes life-long civically engaged UW-Madison students and alumni.
