Family Outcomes in Autism Spectrum Disorder - Family Newsletters
The overarching goal of this study is to examine family outcomes in families of children with autism spectrum disorder. In this study, Dr. Hartley investigates the within-family associations between the child functioning, parental experiences and marital adjustment as these processes unfold in naturalistic contexts and across five years. Findings from the study will be used to identify potential avenues for improving the well-being of both parents and children with autism spectrum disorder. As the study has progressed, information collected has been disseminated to participating families through family newsletters to support parents.
