Lifestyle Initiative for Fitness Empowerment Foundation Cross Plains Community Project
The Lifestyle Initiative for Fitness Empowerment (LIFE) Foundation Cross Plains Community Project members unite in purpose with the Village of Cross Plains and surrounding communities to improve health via improving nutrition and increasing physical activity within a local safe environment. The goals of the project include increasing physical activity by offering after-school, adult and senior programs; improving nutrition through education and encouraging use of farmers markets; improving access to and use of outdoor recreational areas; and making recommendations for healthy-living choices to community schools and businesses. This project is funded in part by a 2013 grant through the Wisconsin Partnership Program.
