How to Reduce Workplace Stress Though Communication & Leadership Skills

Combining communication tools with self-management and self-awareness skills builds a stronger platform to lead and support empathetic interactions with clients and the veterinary medical team. Communication and connecting from an empathetic stance allows us tp get to the heart of any matter faster and with more trust. This results in more satisfied clients and robust teamwork with better problem solving capacities. Explore models of communication tools, styles and preferences, with specific learning activities and objectives, such as the DiSC model. Review concepts of Imposter Syndrome and the Culture of Infallibility. Walk away with solid plans for improvements.

Outcomes

1) Combine communication tools with self-management and self-awareness. 2) Build a stronger platform to lead and support empathetic interactions with clients and the veterinary medical team. 3) Explore complimentary models of commutation tools, styles and preferences with learning activities and objectives for change. 4) Learn and use the four primary DiSC styles. 5) Learn about the concepts of Imposter Syndrome and the Culture of Infallibility.
