Faculty ensemble outreach yields an economic benefit to the Mead Witter School of Music of around $40k per year. This supports the role of the outreach coordinator and allows the program to offer free student engagements to underserved schools. There were 8 such free engagements in 2022-23. Additionally, the program attracts dozens of students to consider a future at UW-Madison. In the Spring semester alone, 63 new students entered the School of Music recruiting pipeline.
