Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network
The Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network is a nationwide clinical research network which aims to develop better means of treating complications of diabetic retinopathy, the single greatest cause of vision loss among Americans. UW-Madison Professor Justin Gottlieb, MD serves as the principal investigator at the University and involves members of the retina service faculty as co-investigators. The University's participation in this network brings innovative and potentially vision-saving research and therapies to Wisconsin citizens.
