Climate Change in the Great Lakes Region
UW-Madison Professor Richard Lindroth conducts research, public education and outreach (to government agencies, schools and faith-based communities) regarding climate change. Professor Lindroth participated in writing the definitive report on climate change for the upper midwest region, called "Confronting Climate Change in the Great Lakes Region. A Report of The Union of Concerned Scientists and The Ecological Society of America."
Outcomes
Increased awareness on behalf of state government, for example the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), and the public regarding impact of climate change on the states environment and agriculture.
