Crop consultants, agronomists, and farmers are using the software to produce the majority of Wisconsin's farm nutrient management plans. We update the software annually to add new features and keep current with cropping practices, policy and research. The 2014 version was downloaded more than 2000 times from the web. Trainings, many designed for farmers, are held throughout the state every year, led by UW-Extension and county and state conservation agency staff. The software is also being used for targeting conservation efforts in nonpoint water quality improvement projects and is used in the state's new Watershed Adaptive Management and Water Quality Trading Programs.
