Wisconsin Office of Rural Health (WI-ORH)
The Wisconsin Office of Rural Health (WI-ORH), located within the UW's School of Medicine and Public Health, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of, and access to, health care services for Wisconsin's rural and underserved communities. It does this by collaborating with health care organizations and systems, community based providers and individuals, and educational organizations to develop programs and provide resources designed to enhance life in rural communities. The Rural Health Development Council (RHDC), a governor-appointed, legislatively approved advisory council to the Wisconsin Department of Commerce, is an initiative of the Wisconsin Office of Rural Health.
