The Wisconsin Idea in Action

Wisconsin Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Conference

The purpose of the Wisconsin Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Conference is to bring the latest information on fresh fruit and vegetable production to growers. Topics range from pest management to marketing, and speakers are invited from UW institutions and from outside the state. Attendance has grown every year in the past several years, and in 2013 exceeded 600 participants, making it one of the largest meetings of its type in the Midwest.

Outcomes

Growers are more educated and make better decisions about what crops to grow, how to grow them, and how to market them.
