Tours at the UW-Madison Geology Museum
The Geology Museum is a popular tour destination on the UW-Madison campus. From kindergarten classes through adult civic groups, tours are tailored to deliver age-appropriate content to each group. Tours are approximately one hour long and feature hundreds of rock and mineral specimens, a black light mineral display and skeletons from dinosaurs and Ice Age animals.
Outcomes
More than 14,000 people receive guided tours at the Geology Museum annually, with the majority being Wisconsin school children.
