UW–Madison Lakeshore Nature Preserve
The UW–Madison Lakeshore Nature Preserve is a 300-acre living laboratory and outdoor classroom for the teaching and research needs of the university as well as a place for respite and well-being. The website includes site history, ideas for visits, an audio tour, and information on free guided walks, ecological restoration volunteering, and student and faculty research.
