Career Development Facilitator Training
Career Development Facilitator (CDF) training is a hybrid training class designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals who work in any type of career development setting. CDFs are those who work in corporations, government agencies, technical colleges, small private companies, large universities, high schools and middle schools, correctional institutions and entrepreneurial settings. The training leads to certification as a CDF through the Center for Credentialing in Education. This program is housed in the Center on Education and Work in the UW-Madison School of Education.
Outcomes
CDF course participants enhance competencies in 12 key areas of career development. This equips them to better serve students and adults in transition as the professionals work with these individuals and groups to develop lifelong career and employment knowledge and skills.
