Child Development Lab
The Child Development Lab is a high quality early care and education program for community children 6 weeks to 5 years and is also an integral part of the teaching and research mission for university students, faculty and staff. The CDL is located inside the School of Human Ecology's Nancy Nicholas Hall in a state-of-the art facility. The CDL has a tripartite mission: (1) To provide supervised internships and training opportunities associated with their course of study. (2) To provide a population and a setting in which UW faculty and students can conduct research on issues related to child development, early learning and family studies. (3) To engage in outreach activities that can improve real world outcomes for children and families.
