Wisconsin 4H Astronomy Project
Two telescope making classes, four to five public lectures on general Astronomy, five to six viewing sessions ("Star Parties") per year, and a twice weekly blog of general astronomical information (hosted by Stanford University Solar Observatory). All are aimed at 5-8th grade kids (mostly 4H) in Sauk, Columbia, and Dane Counties. The project is also building an observatory atop the Baraboo Bluffs.
Outcomes
Several dozen 4H kids do a county fair Astronomy Project per year. Several hundred kids and adults attend lectures and star parties and get to use the project's telescopes per year. About 10 4H kids build telescopes per year.
